I have an ACER Extenza 5420 running Vista HP..I am sure I had a firewall on here but cannot find it...I am ruining Spysweeper Ver.5.5.7.124, win FW turned off, defender turned on, spyBot,RegCure, adware, and CC Cleaner..

I had Trend Micro on here but was interfering with some program so uninstalled it ...I know that my TWC modem and Linksys N router have firewalls built in..

I have run Belarc and I cannot find the word ( firewall) in the list?? Any ideas how I can tell if I have one on my computer?? I do know that you can not run two firewalls...so before I add Zone Alarm or one of them I want to make sure I do not already have one...

Why are you adding a software firewall when you have a perfectly good hardware one on your router?
