Is there any way of blocking internet access to a program at certain times of day without blocking all internet access through my Firewall.
The reason for asking is this, One of my "Little Darlings" insists on using Messenger first thing in the morning before school, doing this she often neglects her other duties before going to school (tending her pets etc).
So I want to restrict her access in the morning whilst not blocking Internet access during the day when she's not here.

I'm using ZoneAlarm Pro as a firewall and I'm on Cable Internet

Hey Ian,

you can block the program i your windows firewall or zone alram. just add the program to the block feature in both.

I know how block "en mass" but I would like to set it to block only between say 06:00 and 08:30 each morning. Maybe I didn't explain myself properly

Thanks Joey I'll look into those. I wondered if it was possible to do whats needed with an "Expert Rule"( in ZoneAlarm) and if so how would I write and set the rule
