Default Zone alarm firewall - Can't switch users

I just started using the ZoneAlarm firewall, and I'm having a problem. I'm using Windows XP Pro and have multiple user accounts. If we switch users from one account to the other, then that other person attempts to log off when done, the screen just goes black and nothing happens.

I used Ashampoo to do a reg cleanup and drive cleaner. Then I did a scandisk from the command prompt. It didn't fix the problem.

When I close Zonealarm and just use the windows firewall, I don't have this problem.

Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it?

First, I apologize for the delay in response to your post.

With a firewall-- if something gets corrupted-- you are better off to just uninstall the whole thing and reinstall from scratch... it is not worth the risk ( to your security)to try to fix it-- watch the config prompts when you reistall to be sure to allow all users to use ZA.
