How should I setup my Comodo firewall to make use of the software to its max? I also using network so my pc was blocked when I try to connet to my another pc. I unblocked one of the block selection on the network tab and it works now but will I still be save?
As long as you only allow that computers internal IP (Probably something like 192.168.x.x). Personally.. I allow 192.168.*.* because I let anyone on my network connect. I recommend keeping it on Custom and only allowing the things you know need to connect.
Hi ! So how do I find out what is my internal IP? Do all the PC use different internal IP or i can use my router IP or what? How do I go about doing that also?
Go to start > run and type in cmd. In the command prompt, type in ipconfig and look for IP Address. It will probably be something like 192.168.X.XXX. I would personally just allow 192.168.*.*. The *'s make it a wildcard so anythign that is there will be allowed. There should be no security risk with that as long as you wish to allow everyone on your network access to your computer.
Ok! I ask this same question at the Comodo forum and I got a replay saying that I could just use the wizard to auto setup what is needed. Is it good enought to use that what ever the wizard setup for me? I think it created something like what you had told me about.
