i installed zone alarm, and i dont know y every one likes ZA that much it brought my conputer to almost a stand still at times, during startup, it sometimes prevented all the startup programs and taskbar programs from being loaded. and when it was installed my shutdown time increased ten times. and during startup it turned on scan disk even though i had shut down properly.

y is this happening, i need a good free firewall as i can afford a full version, seeing that ZA is the only good free firewall available how can i fix these

yes they stopped. my cpu speed has been restored as that of a 2.8 GHz shud be, and is operating normally,

but the problem that i described in my thread in the security section of a constant popup coming every 45 sec of downloading the registry cleaner has started again, so i need the firewall , but wats the problem
