Firewalls - [Pending] Need someone familiar with eTrust. posted in the Security & Safety forums; Double-click the Symantec folder-- are there files in it (any)...
OK -- go ahead and Right-click the symantec folder in the left pane of the regedit window. Nothing else.Click Delete.
Windows will popup a warning asking if you really want to delete this folder and all subfolders/contents -- click yes.
Note: this technique should only be used to cleanup after the uninstaller has been run. This is true for any program. Editing the registry without understanding what you're doing can really hose your installation.
Close all the little plus signs again/close regedit/reboot.
See how things seem then... might be better/might be the same-- but at least you'll finally be rid of Norton.
Alright well I've got a report to do before I'm gonna reboot. Need to get it done and stop procrastinating. I might post back again tonight, might be tomorrow.

I'll see you then. Will subscribe to the thread so I get notified. I work days -- but I do come on for a brief time in the Morning. You could also consult Garhar or one of the other techs.
Alright well, as far as computer/internet goes, the problem hasn't been alleved. Not sure as far as in game goes though. Haven't had time to play. Would be my guess that it's still same as it was though.
