Default [Pending] Firewall/NAT error

Hi guys. I have never had this problem before so I have no idea how to resolve it, but I think I might have an idea what is causing the problem. When I download a Torrent file, I get an error saying that I had an Firewall/NAT problem or something like that. I think it is something to do with my computer not accepting incoming connections through certain ports? So when I download a torrent file I either get a slow download, or nothing at all. I can still download, but not very well as it is probably being restricted the amount of connections it can receive.

I am using Comodo Firewall, and I don't know if this is causing the problem? I did have Net.Vadas firewall and I had the same problem downloading torrents then too. I am not sure if it is the firewall causing the issue or not, but I think it is most likely that. I have tried configuring my firewall to allow all access to my Torrent Client but still no success. I have even tried changing ports and disabling Windows Firewall. I have no idea what the NAT is either?

I am using security programs like Comodo, Cyberhawk, and Avira AntiVir. I also have Service Pack 1 installed. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

After Googling about a bit. I think I may need to "Forward my ports". How on earth I do this I don't know. All this techno jargon just goes in one ear and out the other with me.

Thanks joe5, however I have just been onto this site, followed instructions and unfortunately cannot access my Router settings, because when I type in the Router address (192.168.0.1) it wont let me log in. The username and password doesn't work.

The default is usually admin/password or admin/1234 or even admin/admin. I have tried all combinations to no avail. I tried resetting my Router but that didn't work either. So I cannot do anything at the moment. I don't understand, I have never had this problem ever before. It has only happened since I reinstalled XP. Could it be something to do with this?.

I'm now pretty sure that this is only happening since I have reinstalled Windows. I can't understand why though? Can't remember what I did differently this time round. Looks like alot of people are getting this Error. I have tried multiple torrent clients but it's all the same. I cannot access my Router configuration to forward ports, even if I did I still dont think it would resolve the issue. Maybe I should just do yet another reinstall of Windows and try again?.

If you go to start/run/eventvwr.msc, then look on the system tab, do you see any "event" 4226 entry's?
