Just FYI guys, i found out what the problem was, or at least i found a solution, whatever it implies.

By logging into my router and the IP setup config, i changed the IP range from say [192.168.0.3 - 192.168.0.10] to something outside the current range [192.168.0.15 - 192.168.0.20] which essentially resets my PC's IP and hey presto it works again. Not really sure what causes the problem and why its confined the just the one PC but im just glad i found out before i reinstalled Windows again!

(Just pressing the 'repair' button on the LAN Status - Support page didnt seem to assign a fresh ip)

So if you're having the same touble make sure you try that! Woulda saved me alotta time

Thanks for that Meat! DHCP normally tries to keep a record of the last IP your PC was assigned to, an then reassigns it again when requested. It eventually releases it, but assigning it out of the scope will force this to happen immediately. It's sounds like a router problem to me, but it's strange that only one PC is affected? At least you found a workaround now if the problem happens again.
