Firewalls - [Fixed] Some Say Ok. Some Say No Way. posted in the Security & Safety forums; I have the firewall set to "learning". And as far as trying to get it to work both ways I just cannot figure that out....

I have the firewall set to "learning". And as far as trying to get it to work both ways I just cannot figure that out.

1. Go to "Start," then "Programs."
2. Choose "Norton Internet Security."
3. Select "Personal Firewall" > "Configure" > "Programs."
4. Change the setting for "TrackMania" from "Block All" to "Permit All."

Well golly gee, it worked. Someone actually just saw the avatar in the game. Thanks, Hengis.

BTW, why wasnt it working before when I 1st installed the game and the firewall was in learning mode?

Also the privacy log still shows many actions are blocked. Dont understand that log.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about the game to answer that...maybe you should post the final part in the TM forums

I dont think any one really does ..

Even in learning Mode the "software" firewall's still really dont like to be told what to do or remember alot. I found the most unatrusive firewall is Webroots firewall. It dont ask for nothing you program it all and thats it. And no one can see my pc online not even me.
