The folder is in use by different services , thats why i mentioned to try it in safemode , but im not sure that even in safemode the folder is renameble.

But why would ZA give those instructions if it isn't possible to do , i think then.. Anyway , give it a try in safemode.

All is well, THANK YOU, Joe. I got Zone Alarm totally removed and purchased Norton SystemWorks 26006 (had 2005) and Norton Personal Firewall. Installed those last night and everything seems to be working well. Thank you so much for the help, have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
