Default [Answered] Zone Alarm (Validation failure)

Right now i am trying to reinstall ZoneAlarm Firewall. When i attempt this it gives me a series of errors.
"Validation failed for C:\WINDOWS\system32\vsmonapi.dll."
"Validation failed for C:\WINDOWS\system32\vsdata.dll."

I decided to reinstall my ZoneAlarm b/c whenever i Shutdown my zonealarm and re-activate it it crashes my computer, it quickly goes black and turns blue with a bunch of text that i am not able to pick up in the short time before it(not blue screen of death) restarts itself.

Should i un-install ZoneAlarm first? I kinda want to keep all my information since it took me a while to acquire the all the allow and dis-allow's. If there is no other way then i'll un-install it. But if it doesn't help, then i don't want to do something i will regret.

Please and thanks.

Personally, to save you the hassle, I would consider a different firewall. If you need recommendations just ask.

Oh, my personal favorite is Sygate Personal Firewall Pro

Other good ones are listed here: http://www.pchelpforum.com/index.php?page=protect

You may also want to consider Outpost Firewall too
