I am using a company issued laptop with adminstrator restrictions. When trying to bypass this to access Facebook I made some internet settings changes and downloaded some software to surf freely. This actually worked.
When I re-booted the pc today I am unable to 'Disable Network Threat Protection' within Network Threat Protection within Symantec Endpoint Protection. Have to do this to log on to my home internet connection.
Steps I took yesterday:
1) Downloaded and used surf software
2) Changed internet settings to allow cookies
3) Ran cmd - net user to bypass admin rights
Since removed new software and changed internet settings back to previous settings. Still unable to access my internet due to Threat Protection.
Any ideas how I can Disable Network Threat Protection?
Not very technical so don't want to get too deep into this unless really necessary.

Have you tried to do a system restore back to point before you did the "changes" to the laptop.
Hope this helps you, before you have to explain to the companies IT department what you did...

If you do not have Admin rights, I cannot help you.
Sorry mate, but you will have to get the IT mob to fix it on Monday...
