Hi all,

This is not exactly a problem, but i need some help/suggestions on buying a wireless mouse. My gf needs a good wireless mouse for her laptop. I was looking at logitech and microsoft ones, she wants the logitech m950 because it has the cord to charge it while still using the mouse instead of having to dock it was a plus her. But i really don't want to pay that amount for a mouse and don't really need all the features on it. And i do not want to be buying batteries every few weeks for a wireless mouse. The logitech ones with batteries say from 6 months to 3 yr battery life depending on what model of mouse, but i don't think with the amount it will be used that it will last that long.

Is there any other not so well known brands with good wireless mice? What features/specs to look for in a good wireless mouse? and any other info that may help me decide.

Thanks
Adam

Failed WD (western digital) 160GB USB external drive. When plugging into windows vista or XP I get a repeated tinging sound. I cannot see the drive nor is there any indication that the system has located the drive. I actually have two of these drives.

Here are some of the things I have tried:

1. Trying to locate the drive through windows computer management in XP and Vista- fails. I just I cannot see anything at all.
2. I have downloaded the utilities from WD - these cannot see the drives.
3. Even tried linux but the same issue.

Any ideas before I toss these pieces of junk?

Hello guys. I have a little problem. I have Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit Ultimate, and my spacebar on two of the keyboards is not functioning. I have two types of keyboards, a wireless (every day use) and a regular wired DELL keyboard. I use that keyboard only when I need to enter in to “Safe Mode”. Since this is a wireless keyboard, it uses an USB receiver dongle, and it doesn’t start working right away. And you probably know, to enter “Safe Mode” you need to start tapping F8 at the LOGO on the boot up. Wireless keyboard doesn’t kick in until right after that logo, so I have a back up, wired keyboard. Anyway, neither of the keyboard's “space bars” function. What do I do to fix this? Thank You People For Help.

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum, so I hope I'm doing this right??

Anyway, having a major problem printing on my Canon Pixma ix4000. I've recently started using remanufactured cartridges as the originals are just TOO expensive, and this seems to have coincided with a need to clean the print heads frequently, otherwise instead of getting red I get a sludgy brown print.

Today I have installed a new magenta cartridge, and when trying to print red I'm getting yellow with pink lines through it. I've tried cleaning the heads, and re-aligning, but neither of these things have helped.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks Judi

Hi, I just bought a Death Adder 3500 mouse, installed all of the drivers, rebooted, and my mouse lags every few seconds. I called their tech support, but I don't think that the guy felt like getting to the bottom of my problem. He asked me about my OS, drivers, and he told me to try another USB port. After that, he recommended that I exchange the mouse for another one. I'm not sure if it's defective or not. I think that moving the cord to different positions/spots also helps. In the Device Manager it says "HID-Compliant Mouse." Shouldn't it say "Death Adder" or something?

Ideas?

Thanks,
