Cool emails form bank Do not reply

I hope this information will help keep someone out of trouble. Over the past week I have noticed that there is many spam message being sent out about bank accounts. If you get one of these types of emails Please do not reply using the address they have in the email.
I have gotten some and with a little checking most if not all are not from the bank they say it is from.
But if you are not sure please do the following.
1. Phone your bank and ask questions as to why you are getting the email from them . Don't be mad for you will find that all banks will never ask you for user names and passwords.
2. Read there Privacy Policy for you will find that they do not send out these emails. Plus you will find there reporting address for spam emails.
3. You can check online only by typing the banks address in your browser. Do Not Copy And Paste The One in the email for this one will not go to your bank.
4. If you get anything that tells you your credit cards have been canceled . Keep your self safe and do not reply to this email. For by Law the Bank need to send you a written letter by mail.

Now as for any one who get the you have won .
Best thing to do is delete it . Never give any of your personal information online.
If it tells you to open the attach file be safe and don't. You never know what may be in that file.

This is a classic example of Phishing. People get duped by these fake e-mails all the time. More information can be found here:

My bank does not send emails to it's customers. As it leaves any message notifications (if needed) on your secure (SSL) internet banking login page, which you can then read when you are logged in...

MMMM!
