e:mail attachments
I am having problems with opening e:mail attachments. When I click on open, it goes to my Taxtron Tax file which cannot open it, because it is in a different format. I need some help to fix ths problem. Thanks for any help. Deodatt Dheju (Barney for future postings) |

Have you tried right clicking on the attachment and selecting the "Open With" command.
Then select the program to open your attachment. I've presumed you're using Windows XP Edit: I've moved you to the email forum for a more accurate response |

Yes, my operating system is Windows XP Pro. and e:mail account is Windows Live. Barney. |

Can you tell us which type of files (attachments) are you trying to open (e.g: .doc, .pdf)?

What happens if you save those attachments to the PC and then double-click to open them?
