Default [Fixed] Repair Outlook 2003 Inbox?

Hi. I used a program called One Click Privacy to clean all the rubbish and recent items, etc on my PC. When I next used my PC my Task Bar shortcuts had disappeared and I can't get them back no matter what I try. It also seems to have wiped my Outlook 2003 inbox.pst file! All of my e-mails have disappeared and I am also unable to receive e-mails (keeps giving an error message)!

HELP!!!

P.S. My backup folders are quite out of date and there are quite a few recent e-mails that I need!

Recommend using the Restore point to get the system files back.
If your Microsoft Backup was turned on then you might be able to get your other files back.

Thanks. Outlook now works!

Still can't get my Quick Launch items back! Any Ideas?

P.S. I'm using Vista.

Hi Brian.
Right click the taskbar, go to Toolbars and click Quick Launch.

Thanks. Done that many times and even clicked Properties and then Quick Launch and it still doesn't appear. I have tried these both when the taskbar is locked and then unlocked.

There is nothing attached sorry Brian.

Also:

Do you know that you can add shortcuts to the Quick Launch menu by simply navigating to (for XP)
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
and either 'copy and pasting' the relevant program folder shortcut to the above folder, or by dragging it across.
( More Info: A better start menu with Quick Launch toolbar)

Note: On Vista, the folder is located at:
Code:
"C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch"
BUT, there is a right-click feature on Vista to simply add items to the Quick Launch menu with one click.

Yep, I know - apparently 139kb is too big for a word doc on this site!

In case Quick Launch is enabled, but there are no items in it's folder, could you go to:

Code:
"C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch"
and let us know what's in there please.

Thanks

Nothing! Not even a Quick Launch folder!

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
If the above folder is empty, try creating a new folder inside the 'Internet Explorer' folder, call 'Quick Launch' (without the quotes) and then try dragging a shortcut into it.
It should then appear in the Quick Launch menu. If not, post back.

Hopefully, the folder is just missing and no registry entries have been removed.
