I started noticing that lately my outlook express doesnt send any emails. I can receive them but i cant send them.
Im using NOD32 and Windows Vista ultimate.

I take it from that, that it has worked in the past? Have you changed anything within Outlook Express recently? Have you changed any passwords etc with your email supplier?

No i havent changed anything, it just stopped sending them, but i am able to receive emails.

Do you have any problems sending/receiving mail via your ISP's webmail facility?

If you can....

Now, go thru this guide and double check that all settings are correctly entered: Setting Up Outlook Identities

If you can't....

Speak to your ISP.

i was able to send it throught webmail. And i also found out that i am able to send emails if they are short or only text messages, but if email is longer around 2mb i get the error.

--- Which version of NOD32 are you using?

Does your NOD32 have the option to scan outgoing emails checked? (Possibly 'Enable Email Protection')
If so, try unchecking it and try resending.

Just had another thought;
--- Is your Outlook Express set to use Port 25 for outgoing SMTP mail ?

Check your Outgoing server settings. If it is set to Port 25, try changing it to Port 26. Some I.S.P.'s block Port 25 for 'security reasons / spam'.
(usually for 3rd party email services like PoBox.com though, this may not be your issue)

Using Webmail, you can send messages up to 5 MB in size. When sending through shawmail (e.g., when sending through an email program such as Outlook Express), your messages can be up to 7 MB in size.

i turned the email protection off and changed the port to 26 and it didnt even start sending an email, but when i changed it back to 25 it started sending it, but when the process bar came to the end i got an error again.

Ok, another possibility ruled out.

Did you check your ISP's online web mail system? Can you send large emails via your web mail ?

i just tried to sned an email 6mb long and it was sent

Hi,
Did you try disabling NOD32 email protection or even disabling NOD32 altogether for a short while, just to see if that is the cause.

havent tried that yet but i will, and i let you know what happens
