Can you please HELP, my husband gets spam come up in his gmail account daily and there is normally about 4 a day all from sites that are offering him viagra and other nasty stuff. He assures me has has not registered for any of these sites but I have no idea how to get rid of them. I did open one to see but it doesnt give any indication on there about unsubscribing or deleting message for always.

these are todays ones these are who they are from and then the website was a site in one of them I didn't go on the site just copied it and pasted it.

I have run all the virus scans through, with norton, spybot search & destroy and adaware but I don't seem to find any viruses or worms or anything just keep getting these emails

this is a very common and ugly problem, and believe me your husband is innocent, i get spam from megadick, like WTH, and I assure you that i never go to such sites.

the spamming is done by spam bots, nasty things.

the spam bots picked up your husbands email from the internet, they just crawl the internet and pick up any email they see, and then start sending spam regularly, so please dont advertise your email, if you have to write your email in a public forum like this one write it as

suport [at] softmall.org

not by using @

some ppl even write like this for advanced security:

support [at] softmall [dot] org

these cannot be picked by spam bots.

for now report these emails as spam in gamil and they will no longer enter your inbox. and use SpamCop.net - Beware of cheap imitations to report this spam

thanks for your help, I have already reported them as spam so they go directly to the spam box not the inbox. I don't think they cause any harm just wanted to make sure that they are not going to infect the system by any way. Thanks for the tip on writing email I will definitely give that a go

emails by them selves can never be harmful its always the attachments that contain the virus.

just never open such mails, or download any attachments from any unknown sender
