Default [Conversation] gimmie your bank details....kthxbye!

Agh!.

I'm so SICK of people emailing me requesting my bank details!.

They arn't very blunt obviously. they are crafty...for example, they pretend to be my bank. one story (Which i got today) said i "inherited" $xxx, xxx, xxx of money and wanted my bank details to transfer it all over to.

Ive decided that reporting these phishing scams just isn't enough, i now reply to every message, usually by saying my bank details are [insert sarcastic/humiliating act here] followed by "thanks alot, go kill yourself!".

I think that this is just provoking them though, because now i seem to be getting more emails then ever (3 today!!) and i'm thinking about my next move...

Anyone know of good sites known for filling people's inboxes full of spam?. i think i'll pass on thier details, i'm sure they'll appreciate my efforts....

By doing this, i'm sure these thieves are less likely to search thier "nets" if its full of spam (it'll at least slow em down) this can only be a good thing for those unlucky (or stupid ) enough to fall for thier emails in the first place.

Banks in the UK take this type of thing very seriously, if you need advice on Phising and how to deal with it, contact your bank.

Yeah make a new account, and like Uppy said you've made them aware that you still use the account, may be annoying but it's the best way .
