Hi all... I have a problem when trying to send emails with attachments that are 8MB or larger...
I can send emails with attachments that are 2MB but not emails that are any larger...
can you please tell me how I can fix this problem, thanks in advance!

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this - most email providers limit your out going and incoming email to 2mb, otherwise it would cause massive issues world wide, with sending larger files.

If you need to get someone a file, i suggest trying to find a free upload site that you can upload and give them the link.

The problem is other staff can send emails that are 8MB so it seems just to be on my email that is having the problem. Its not the ISP who is limiting it. Is there any other way you think could resolve this problem ???

Go to one of the other staff PC and go in to there outlook go to the tools menu then go to account setting/email accounts double click there email address and check the settings are the same besides your username of course there must be a different setting in there

Hi shazada, if this is in a work environment...it could be a couple of different thigns - if you're on an exchange mail server, you will be limited by the system admin.

you can change this restriction on a user by user basis.

If you're trying to send it to someone else on the same network...put it on a network share
If it's external...you also need to ensure they are able to receive 8mb files.
