If someone uses Yahoo Mail or Hotmail Mail can they be traced in anyway?

Well, someone I know needs to set up an e-mail address for their business. They've been told that if they use Yahoo or Hotmail then they wouldn't be able to be traced by a business contact incase of problems. I think businesses need to know that they aren't fake.

Personally, I wouldn't use a "Webmail" account for business purposes. It's always better for companies and customers to see an ISP account (or own domain account) as this shows accountability.
