Welcome to PC Help Forum

If the Outlook Express installation is on the same PC as the Outlook installation then try using file -> export in OE then file -> import in Outlook. Do the same for message/calendar/contacts.
is there a way to find out thier e-mail server from express
When you say email server..are we talking about Exchange server or do you mean an ISP server (POP3 etc)?

As to your 3rd point, I would suggest (when you have proven that the data transfers over AND have a backup of it) that you completely remove Outlook and re-install it with any required new settings.

Me either but you could check to see if he has a rule set up that uses the in-built spam filter in Outlook and simply moves those mails to another folder.

Like I said, it depends on the connection. If you are connecting to a server (be it ISP or local Exchange) then you will need all of the details (including address etc) before you can go anywhere with it.
