Can your email get tracked and how if so? Say you have false information on witch u sighned up with the email can they still track you to your house somehow?

Hey spkid...

Email is tracked from it's originating IP to its destination IP...from their they can track down which ISP you're on and follow that back to what username you have, and if your ISP is scared into doing the anything they can have your name, phone number and address....this is quite possible, but I've never heard of anyone actually doing it and violating the laws to protect us all...but it's possible.

So say if some one did track my isp and they did scare them into giving my info its against the law?

The XXXX'd out email addresses are mine and are done for privacy reasons.

Depend on what country you live, I know in the US spammers have been caught and either fined or imprisoned. Other countries either have harsher penalties or none at all...

the headers are a good way to find out where spammers are comeing from i use them all the time at work to block ip that spam us a loot
