Hey BlueNose,

welcome to PCHF.

- Go to File, Identities, Manage Identities.
- Click on Properties, and tick "Require a password", and then change the password to whatever you want.

It only provided security for Microsoft Outlook, and it's still possible to access your mail from an external program such as Mozilla. If you want complete protection, consider locking your PC (as suggested by Wolfey). Some e-mail providers allow you to logon to collect your e-mail from their web site, if not a little less user friendly, but more secure.

As an aside I haven't used Outlook/Ex for years.
I always use web based email clients.
