I hope I have chosen the right section for this. I recently got a ION turntable that enables one to record vinyl records to a computer's hard drive. The software program used is Audacity. I have successfully recorded some tracks and saved them as WAV files as instructed. I want to email one of the tracks (I use Incredimail) but size is about 40mb. My high speed cable service provider allows up to 7mb max per email. What does one do to get the file down to a smaller size? The song is only about 3-4 mins long and I receive stuff like this all the time so I know there must be a way?

Im assuming these are not your own work. Personal copies are legal but emailing them to other people is illegal. Thread Closed.
