Default Spam E-mail Filter on Outlook Express

Spam E-mail Filter on Outlook Express
Ive been getting a bit of bother with Spam e-mail to my blueyonder account lately.
I have been updating the e-mail filter by blocking entire domain addresses ie- @blah.com

But every now and again a domain that I have blocked still gets through to my Outlook Express.
Anyone any reason why this is?
Oh, and the Spam e-mails are usually one of 2 or 3 similar formats. And since they change their addresses regularly Im still getting a load through, but the ones with the blocked address getting through is the problem I wish to tackle just now. I can deal with the other ones when I figure this out. (Or someone else figures it out for me )

Im good with PCs but this has me stumped. I was considering chaning my e-mail alias to stop this, but I have a few CVs out to companies with this current e-mail address and dont think it would be a good idea to change it just yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Astrax,

Welcome to PCHF.

I've not seen or heard of this happening before.

What I would recommend though, if your having SPAM problems, try: spamjab.com: Protecting families from Spam

I had SPAM problems recently, and I could not filter because the e-mails contained text in image format so that I could not filter out any specific word, and every SPAM message I received was from a different address too. I started using SPAMJAB. Sometimes it does block e-mails from new senders, but you can easily log onto the site, see what has been filtered, and unblock it if you need to.
