Hello Hughjrrussell, and welcome to PHF.

- You should be able to pick your default e-mail program from Control Panel, Internet Properties.
- Click on the Programs tab.
- Select Outlook Express for E-mail, or whatever you would like your default e-mail program to be.

If Outlook Express is what you generally use for your e-mail, and it is not on the list, make sure it is installed. You will require your Windows installation disk for this:

- Go to Control Panel.
- Click on Add or Remove Programs
-Click on the Add/Remove Windows Components buttonon the left.
- Scroll down to Outlook Express.
- If there is no tick in the box, then put one in.
- If there is a tick in box, then take it out, press Next and Finish. Follow the same process to put the tick back in.

You should now see Outlook Express appear in Internet Properties.
