Default [Resolved] - outlook express - query. help?

Hi.

I've been looking at my parents pc today. they're on XP home ed. my mams account is running outlook express with no problems (ie sending, receiving etc fine).

on my dads account, i can open express, but it keeps asking for username and password. i've entered these details countless times correctly, and still it won't accept them and allow him to use the email.

what he wants is to be able to access the same emails that my mam receives (as they're for all the family) but on his account, through his express.

now, i'm no whizkid with pcs, so if you've got a solution please be gentle with me and explain it to me in english! lol.

much appreciated.

Les xx

Hi Les.

Can you open normal Outlook on your dads? If you can get into outlook, go to File > Identities > Manage Identities and see if your mums account is on there.

Default Tried it....

Went to file, identities etc. in manage identities it said Main Identity (as it does on my mams account).

it connects to the internet, and when clicking send/receive it still pops up asking for username and password (the option to save password is feint). Then you can't do anything else with it.

Help!
