Default [Resolvede] Outlook Express problems, please help!

Am I the only one experiencing problems with Outlook Express? When launching it, sometimes I get the following error: "The instruction at "0x0048680e" referenced memory at "0x00000000" The memory could not be "read." Click on OK to terminate the program." After clicking OK, Outlook then launches as normal. If I don't receive the error, sometimes when I launch Outlook Express, it just simply hangs and won't launch at all, and I must do ctrl-alt-del and end the process. Restarting my computer doesn't seem to help and I do have the newest updates from Microsoft installed. A friend of mine said it's a memory issue but has forgotten how to detect which memory. He said the 0x00000000 is the lowest level of memory. Please help! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!?

P.S. I'm running w2k Professional. Let me know if any of you need further info.

It does sound like a memory issue. I used to use a program called Burn in Test to detect faulty memory.
You can download it here, in the settings just enable the RAM test, that way you dont have to sit there for hours while it checks your video card and all the rest.

Or you can check the downloads out on this site.

Just wanted to let you know that my friend figured it out. ?It wasn't a memory issue at all. ?It was actually a software conflict with MSN Messenger 6.2. ?After uninstalling MSN Messenger, the problem went away, no more issues. ?Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it. :-)
