Default [Answered] My hotmail account was hacked into

Im not really sure what happend but some time during the last week my hotmail account was hacked into (not sure if hacked is the right word)

Whoever it was who did this decided to send sick images/messages to one of my friends who now isnt talking to me

What can MSN do about this? Can they find out who did this? Mainly so i have evidence to show my friend to prove it wernt me who sent this stuff to him

EDIT- didnt notice the email forum below me stupid!

Admin - No probs - moved to the right section

You can always report problem emails to ISP's and email hosts. I would guess that MSN follow the "code" and have an email address of abuse@hotmail.com (you might wanna check it).

Unfortunately I don't think it will help you out in this situation as I don't think you'll get the proof you need from MSN. I suppose it all comes down to how good the friend is

You might want the friend to look at the header of the email he/she got from "you" - it may have the originating emailers identity or at least a different ISP to yours - proof!!

I tried sending a message via the online help system, but nothing yet (5 days now).

Il try the email address you said, most ISPs have them so msn should.

I would like to check, but my friend isnt talking to me at all. When i tried to phone i just got told he dont want to speak to me.
