Default no beep no display on new build

okay so im gonna start off by saying that i have searched for over 6 ours for a solution to this problem before i decided to make a post. Anyways, i have put together my mb, cpu, ram, and gpu and am not getting any beeps or signal on my monitor. At first i thought it was a defective mb (as suggested by asus) so i sent it back to newegg and borrowed a friend's in the mean time. I hooked it all up but still nothing. So then it was obviously not the mb. Now i go through just about every singal forum to figure out a solution. I find this to be a common problem but none of the suggested things work. I could almost write an encyclopedi on everything i tried. So now 2 weeks later and 0 progess, this is basically my last hope.

Core 2 duo E8500
Asus p5q se plus

Evga 9800 gt

Hello and welcome to PCHF!

I'm going to throw some idea's out there but I will also mark this as [Open] so that other Tech's know to look at it and they can give you ideas too.
If it's doing nothing at all, sounds like a power issue to me. I could easily be wrong though. Have you tested the power supply to make sure that it is supplying power?

Regards,
Adam

Hello Nish and Welcome!

Have you tried removing all but one stick of the RAM, then tried to turn on? I imagine with all you've tried that one was in there.
Is this a new monitor, or one that was previously in use?
If fans and all are running, maybe just a bad cord on the monitor or the connector to your graphics card?
The other thing that comes to mind is the PSU. It may have power enough to turn some things on, but perhaps not all?

Try this one out.

Thanks for your patience!

Yes i tried every stick individually but that didnt help. As for the monitor, it is brand new but i ahave tried the computer on a diff monitor and a diff cable. I also tried both dvi ports and 2 diff gpu's. And my power supply is 750w which i think should be more than enough. Today im gonna clear the cmos for a few hours and try running it out of the case so ill let you now how that goes

Nish firstly do not clear the BIOS for hours.

Do you have the the 24 pin power supply fully connected to mainboard?

Do you have the 4 pin power supply connected to mainboard?Located above the sound card and USB ports.

Is the graphics card fully seated and power connected to it?
