The board's Northbridge chipset is OLD TECH. My point being, regardless of what brand of new board you buy, even if it's ASUS, why not select one with newer technology?? Ah, my mistake. That was me misunderstanding your post. Forgive me ^_^;

Anyway, I found the EVGA motherboard Jester was talking about on a UK website and I will be purchasing that one along with a 9800 GTX, a 600W PSU, a new case and a new monitor. I will keep my current CPU (e2160) for now as I want to overclock it to 3GHz which should be achievable with the new case and some more fans and such.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. As far as I'm concerned my question has been answered and this thread can be labelled as such.
