Hi Daniel,well about turning logo off in BIOS?Not sure if that can be done.

Could you give a little more information on the laptop please?IE,what OS is it running?

ok sorry , its a DELL Inspiron 9400 and is runnin xp media center, core2duo 1.84ghz with 1gb ram




ps. will the mobo on my other pc still work with that one pin that may be a little dodgy ?

Try this on the Visual Studio error.Other links attached:BUG: You receive an "Unhandled Win32 exception" error message you use the Just-In-Time (JIT) debugger

Broken or loose pin,well it proberly work if you do not move the computer or untill the pin breaks off altogether.

thanks yeh i think ill just leave it ... dont wana stuff anything got to much work on here that i cant afford to lose...

what do ya rekon about the motherboard ram slot?

You broke off the platic holder?Is it connected back or broken?I think I am not sure you maybe able to replace the holder.

oh nahh the holder and everything is intact, its just the holder has like silver lines on it, and when we put in another peice of ram, the holder burnt the ram... an in doing that one of the silver pins came out a little but ive put it back in...
