I used my Desktop and my laptop to run a XP setup disc to install XP on an external HDD to put into my neice's Laptop and now everytime I boot up my desktop or laptop, I get the option to run XP setup or XP professional.
How can I remove the set up or end it for good?
If I exit it then it comes back the next time....
Please help.
I know there is probably an easy fix....
Thanks.

It is possible you didn't do everything you needed to do.
Since I've never tried this, I can't speak to it's procedure.
I didn't do the restore point because I didn't have one to go back to.
I was trying to format and install XP on a Hard drive that was hooked up externally because the laptop that it was for was made for Vista and I was trying to make it XP/Vista Dual Boot but I never could get it to work.
There weren't XP drivers for the Motherboard and Bus and HDD controller... It would never recognize the HDD when booted in XP.
So I bought a ext HDD kit to try setting up the OS and drivers before putting it into the laptop and that didn't work either.
But that is how I got 2 computers now that boot up and gives me a choice of Windows XP setup or Windows XP Pro when I power on.
