Default Building a new PC to sell.

Im really into building Pc's even tho i only have enough money to mess with mine. But i just got a Dremel (complete for 8$) And im going to get a cheap case and mess with it and try and mod it a little bit. Basically my question is: Is there any money in this? And any advice from anyone with experience in modding?

Also what are some good sites to look into for PC modding? Im looking at Xoxide and CrazyPc atm. Any other good ones? Or even sites with instructions and tips on the subject?

in my opinion, if people want a good case with cutout designs they can just go buy one for 50 or 60 bucks. But if you do something cool that you normaly dont see from a pc, i think you could make a little money and also quench your thirst for pc building/modding.

v Here is a list of some cool mods. v

Case Mod - The Ultimate List

Or if you get good at it you could take orders for designs.

Its a niche market. You could advertise if your a good artist. Might be an idea to offer water cooling aswell as your custom builds

I think for my first one im just going to do the case. See how it looks and see what i get for it off ebay. I found a killer mod site with instructional videos and a few mod accesories. I think i might go with some vinyl. They have some thats diamond plate style so ill probably go with that first.

Case Mod Supplies and PC Modding Gear

If you're going to sell modded PCs you better know what you are doing. Especially if its a water cooled pc. i know of people who get in way over their head when the PCs they sell start leaking. so be careful.

Im probably going to do just a case right now. I have a couple leftover cases. Ill paint one and use vinyl on the other. Test both areas of the process and see what i can do.

Ive gotten the idea for the first case. Im going to paint it all black on the outside. And key lime green on the inside. Ive already etched out the side panel which will be a Pot Leaf. (Not because im a pot head since i rarely smoke pot but ive looked for case mods like this and havent found one, Plus its for my brother in law and hes a pot head)

I will also use green led's on the inside to make the leaf stand out. And my new airbrush and compressor should be here tomorrow so i might try something with that. Im starting the first coat today. Im just waiting on my mouse sander to get here. Ill post pics mid way through and hopefully it turns out ok.
