Red face Norton Ghost Back Up

Hi all

I have 4 Norton Ghost Images on a HDD, and I need to back them up to a cd. I tried just copying the files to a cd, but it does not work. When I asked my seniors for help they sadi i should refer to google for help. I tried everything that my level of knowledge could possibly apply, but nothing helped.

I wold be most grateful to anybody that can help me in this regard.

Hi and welcome to PC Help Forum

How large are the images? Whenever I have used Ghost the images have been multiple GB's..way too big for a CD. You may have to burn them individually onto a DVD.

Well, sorry, I should have mentioned that I used a dvd. One thing though, should I just copy the files an burn as data, or is there a special way to go about it? I really am new to the Image world.

Question Re: Norton Ghost Back Up

hello guys, I need you to understand that my problem is not to burn the data to the cd, but to get it to work. Let me give you this analogy; if you copy the files of an OS disc to another disc, it will not work, right? So I am in a like situation. The only difference this time is that I have my images on a HDD, otherwise I would just crease an ISO(Clone). So please, anything you recommend is welcomed, for I am at my wits.
