The problem is, many things that are going to need RMA, dont come DOA. many die after some use, which makes the testing useless, and your out $8

AW_3_3, I'm not going to get into a peeing contest with you. I submitted my opinion which I think is right, and you submitted your opinion which you think is right.

The fact is, with all the quality control problems surfacing in electronics (and everything else) manufactured by Chinese factories now days, lots of brand new parts are JUNK from the get go, so testing IS very useful. You won't convince me otherwise, so continuing this ping pong game is pointless; not to mention it has gotten us offtopic, OK?? I really don't care where anyone, except me, buys anything.

I hope you're Newegg's best customer and send a lot of business their way.

As it stands now, Terdogtanner has at least 2 GOOD sources for parts instead of one, and FYI the testing fee covers return shipping for the rare RMA (unless Directron changed their policy in the last few weeks).

but ive heard good things about newegg...
