hi, im wondering if you can help me.
i have recently built a pc which works fine but
cant seem to load vista.
every time i select the boot device (cd), it keeps
coming up with "please select boot device or insert
proper boot media".
apparently iv been told that i need to update
the drivers but how do i load drivers with no os.
please help me

Have you change the 1st boot option to cdrom in the bios richie and saved the changes?

i wish it was that simple

Hi does your post recognise the cd? and then look in bios that its in the right place

I spent ages with the same problem I just didn't look at post only to find the cd was not detected
