Question Need advice

HI i am planning on building a gaming pc i have all the parts tht were recommended
but the main game i want to be able to use on it reccomends a video card with 320mb ram or more Its Fps creator Dx10. So can someone find me a better Gpu that isnt to much more than the one before here is the list. Ps Obvisousily i want Dx10 and vista compatible stuff lol.

You can pick up an 8800GT and it's a massive improvement, though their prices are still a bit high, or you can grab an ATI 3850 I believe as well.

I'd ditch that RAM and pick some slightly cheaper DDR2 800. Also, I highly doubt you'll need anything more then a 500/600W PSU

And I would definitely get some Artic Silver for thermal paste.

(Floppies are obsolete nowadays btw)

And I'm not too sure why you want a quad-core, the performance increase is quite minimal, even when multi-tasking, and the motherboard you picked doesn't even support quad cores

Compatible with all FSB1333/1066/800/533MHz CPUs except Quad Core


I'd also swap that motherboard for either a P35 or 680i chipset motherboard

i dint put these together one of your moderators did Rodents210 if its possible i would like to ask for some links to be put together then for a new build price range is about £600 max and i want the pc for gaming,DX10 and i want vista i know its got some problems but fps creator only runs on that so i will give it a try thanks

And yes, if you plan to be running Vista, the extra RAM will help ALOT.
