I'm just in the habit. For my particular motherboard, you HAVE to follow the compatibility list very strictly until you do a BIOS update, so I figured rather than getting another set afterwards, I'd get a big set for all the time that was a compatible type. That's how I found A-Data.
So anyway, after searching all that time, I just got in the habit of following the type of
RAM listed as compatible by the Newegg Crucial test to a T.
