Default AMD MOBOVs INTEL MOBO

May i know if an AMD motherboard is better or an Intel's motherboard? Cause i would like to build a new computer from scratch, and with it i could boot various OS etc. Linux, leopard os. And at the same time, build a balanced rig that gives good performance and money worth the value.

This is a timeless argument... with no real answer, I'm afraid.
There are many arguments... AMD used to be preferred by Gamers/Overclockers because they were easier (then) to OC.
This is no longer the case.
A lot depends on your budget--
the best thing would be to assemble your preferences under each type-- via a shopping cart you can save...many websites do this
that way you can compare the costs.

The thing is...to really compare the 2 --will take hours/days of research and reading. Due to chipsets and BIOS issues and RAM speeds.

Places like ArsTechnica-- could save you a LOT of time/confusion/grief
They have systems all tested out for you in advance--not to buy from them... but just evaluated by experienced builders.
There are "budget" / "Gamer" / "Ultimate" levels

Ars Technica - Guides to Technology, Buying Recommendations, and more...

and there are others that also do this type of thing -- so you can get many views
