please help me just built a new pc, spec is intel quad core q6600, cpu, asus p5n32 e sli motherboard, 2 corsair gbyte ddr2 twin 2x memory, 1 sata 160 western digital hd.

ok the problem is, when I power up I can get into bios but the buzzer on the motherboard just goes buzzzzzzzzzzz all the time and constant, please tell me what ive done wrong and how I can fix it, asus website and user manual useless, and the pc cant load up windows disc, what am I doing wrong please help before I go mad,Im a amateur and so maybe its something I dont know about the bios, thankyou all kindly.

Hello JamesDyson, welcome to PCHF.

Blank screen, and a constant beep (not intermittent) is that right?

If so, first thing you need to do is unplug the keyboard to see if it's a keyboard problem.

If that fails, the two remaining problems is power supply (insufficient power) or faulty motherboard. Make sure you have enough power there by using extreme power supply calculator eXtreme Power Supply Calculator v2.5 (click GoLite and enter your hardware information - compare it with your current power supply).
