I was putting together a PC and everything turned on fine

It is made up of an Asus p5b vm mobo
Intel e6600 d2c proccessor
Evga 8800gts gpu
western digital SATA HDD
and a 450 watt PSU

Right, well it worked well for a day,

then during an install it decided to turn off, then not turn back on.

I've taken it all apart to see why it wouldnt turn on.

it would go on for a second, everything spinnable, would spin

Then go off.

I took the heatsink and chip off to see if anything was wrong

Looks like a pin is bent

i then put it back and it wouldnt turn back on

I hook my old mobo, CD,HDD,GPU and everything up and it turns on for a second.

So, could this be my dual core or my PSU?

uplug power take out cmos battery short jumper to clear bios put back together shud start got same prob new to this . cant tell you whats causing it
