Default Logitech MX610 or MX620?

Need help on choosing my next mouse. The Logitech MX610 and MX620 are both in the price range i can afford and don't know which to choose. The 610 has more buttons and a normal scroll wheel while the 620 has 8 buttons and hyper fast scrolling wheel.

The 610 has two buttons which light up when you receive IM messages or email on outlook.

Don't know which to choose, pls help. thanks.

The 610 is a left-handed version of the 620-- does it have to be cordless? If not I highly recommend the MX 518-- gaming optical mouse (even if you don't game)-- I've had mine for 5 years absolutely zero problems-- adjustible any way you want-- really fast and very precise.

I myself am not a great fan of cordless mice. I'm not entirely sure why, I guess it's just that i'm used to it.
I would agree with ih8bills, I have the same mouse as he recommended and it really is a great mouse.
It feels comfortable, is precise and should be around the same price (maybe cheaper) then the MX610 and MX620.
Are you going to gaming with the mouse you purchase? If so then I would definatly look into wired mice as they generally have a quicker response time.

I was thinking of the Logitech G5 gaming mouse. Has great functions : instant DPI shifting, good for FPS gamers, as well as tiltable scrolling, etc... would this be better than the mx610's or 620's?

The Laser would be great too.. I don't like cordless-- if you don't need to have batteries why bother with them?
Get the G5 or MX 518
