Computer DIY - Need another advice..... posted in the Hardware forums; I'm getting a seagate barracuda hdd 250GB. What should i do with it? I was thinking of doing a complete reinstall of windows on it and use my old 40GB ...

Default Need another advice.....
I'm getting a seagate barracuda hdd 250GB. What should i do with it? I was thinking of doing a complete reinstall of windows on it and use my old 40GB hdd as a storage for other files. Should I do a partition on the 250?

Pls help. Thanks.

You could do that..it'll work. Personally, I would just partition the 250gb drive as 20gb (Windows) and the rest as an applications/games partition.

Maby you should partion it to about 30gb or 40 so that you dont need to repartion it later when you run out of program space.
