Hey there mate, Why the 2 raptors, if you really want a faster hard drive it'd be better in my opinion and go for one raptor to install the Operating System and programs on unless you want a RAID setup and one normal drive for storage, you will get more storage and it will save you money.

As for Ram I'd go with OCZ which for me is the best choice, rock solid and lifetime warranty, Crucial, Corsair, Geil and Kingston are all ok.

Video card, if you want to play Crysis I recommend a DX10 card such as the 8800GTS (The GTX and Ultras are great but a bit expensive and you should get by fine with the GTS)

Soundcard, what's cheap? Personally I'd go with the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 which is a bit pricey but not too bad, if not just look around, Creative seem to be messing about with the vista drivers for a lot of cards (or lack of)

Processor, anything in the mid-upper Core2Duo range.

DVD, Look for NEC, Plextor or Liteon, sata drives will give best performance.

I would say air cooling, get a few decent case fans and a decent CPU cooler, water is alright but it doesn't give that much of an advantage and if you want to cool everything from it, it will get a bit pricey.

These are (apparently) the recommended specs for Crysis

CPU: Dual-core CPU (Athlon X2/Pentium D)
Graphics: Nvidia 7800GTX/ATI X1800XT (SM 3.0) or DX10 equivalent
RAM: 1.5GB
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 512k+ (128k+ upstream)
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX10 with Windows Vista
It won't hurt to go over it and to get the best from it you're best with a DX10 card.

Hope this helps

-Lebowski.
