Hi Wolfeymole, I tried the fix it programme in you link-it said it had fixed some problems but the drive still can not read dvds. Well it was worth a shot cheers! Strange that it wont read dvds but will read cds-Nightmare!!!!!! |

Try this:
In My Computer: Right click DVD player > Left click Properties > Hardware Tab > Select unit from list > Properties > DVD region > select Country > OK > OK

Hi, tried that but unfortunatley didnt work.
Ive contacted dell and samsung support hopefully they may be able to help. Downloaded samsung live firmware update but my model was not supported. Contacted seller and he says it is brand new drive and no reason why it shouldnt work but willing to send me another one if i send it back.  What a headache-cheers for you help tho guys! |
