Error message for CD Drive
Hi everyone, I have Windows XP. I am trying to save Documents/Photos to CD Disk, each time I try, a message comes up saying "Insert Disk" when I have already inserted the disk. I am able to read disks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.  |

Are you sure the disc is not already written on? Also what program are you using to burn the cd? |

Do you have two optical drives, one perhaps being a basic cdrom (read only) drive and the other being a cdrw(read/write) drive?
If you are inserting the disk in the cdrom drive nothing will happen. Roxio is the onboard burning software for Windows XP. You need burning software to "burn" the files into the disk shanghied.
