to any one who can help me! i put my dvd on my computer for the one i had before , i put the gray 2 in. thing on and this is what i get. this program can be executed only when there is an application which use the pc- dvd encore wdm driver currently being run on the desktop. when trying to add dvd i get this, this device cannot start code 10. my c drive is not there anymore.so i put my computer back the way it was.

It can be as simple as the jumper being incorrectly set. Now please try to answer some of my questions as best you can so I can get a feel of what your have done.

1. There are 2 controlers you can connect this drive to, Primary and Secondary. Which one is it connected to?
2. Are there any other drives on that gray Ide cable and at what part?
