The case says PCDVD.
The disc says PC DvD-ROM Software.



Almost forgot, I got this disc that says Disc Lens Cleaner and on the bottom it has these like duster things.
I've tried putting it in but I'm not sure how long to leave it in.

Until is stops spinning I presume? I've only ever used one on a DVD player, and it just came up with a long track list, and it took about an hour or so then stopped spinning.


Normally I would say it could be a bad disk, but since it's two different ones it makes me sway more towards thinking it's a hardware issue.

Perhaps someone who's a little more of a wizz with this sort of thing can help...

I've talked to my friend a while ago and he said that he bought The Elder Scrolls: 4 and it would not read the disc.

My mom said that it could be a memory issue because I have been running slow recently.

I can't even run Paint Shop Pro anymore.

Maybe that'll work.

You said the pc is running slower than usual. The next time it's running slow can you press CTRL+ALT+DEL and go into Task Manager. Under the Processes tab can you let me know processes are taking up the CPU aside from System Idle Process.

Did you update your graphics card drivers recently? If so can you please let me know what graphics card you have in your next post.

i had the exact same problem as you with mylightscribe...red alert2 failed on me and thought itwas the drive but put in a friends dis [redalert2] and works fine and put mine in his and dien't work. wierd...very wierd.

I also had trouble with RA2, but it turned out to be the autoplay causing problems.
